The Damba Intra was established in 1999, driven by the essence of privatization and the process of autonomy in Indonesia regional government.

Founded by Nico Barito, Damba Intra is engaged at all levels, not just at regional level, with the initiative of The Governor of West Java to rehabilitate the Citarum River basin, but also with the increasingly important tier of sustainable development with national and international alliances that are striving to regenerate their economic development, environment protection and social inclusion.

How can local regional authority progress sustainable development at the same time as improving and managing performance ? At Damba Intra we seek ties for innovative ways in partnership with local authorities, local strategic and regional and subregional government.

A proven success of Damba Intra in the year 2000, has been the establishment operation of an integrated treatment and recycling of hazardous waste water treatment in Bandung Regency, the industrialized heartland of Indonesia’s textile manufacturers.

Along the line, we emphasize on clean air and actively involve in conservation and rehabilitation of water catchments zone.

The recognition of sustainable development may not be achieved without  understanding the balance between nature and human economy and the identity of different level of developments.
