 In
commemoration to the 62nd anniversary of Indonesia
Independence Day, on September 08 2007. PTDI launched
clean environment campaign to diminish dengue fever within
the neighborhood of Cisirung. The program which is
initiated by PTDI and The West
 Java
Red Cross Chapter, also invites the involvement of Bandung
Red Cross and the local governments from Bandung Regent.
During the opening session, Drs.H.Karna Suwanda, Chairman
of West Java Red Cross Chapter, complements the effort of
PTDI for undertaking the initiative which will encourage
participation of manufacturing stake holders within
Cisirung district. The one day agenda also includes work
shop to raise awareness of local communities to anticipate
the spread of dengue and to invite common challenge to
flood and the monitoring of water reserve. The session
also provide complementary health check up for the locals
and fumigation to the surrounding neighborhood. |
