Prof.Dr.Syaukani H.R, Bupati of Kutai Kartanegara,
accompanied by Nico Barito visited Geneva to conduct
official meeting with UNITAR and The Indonesia
Permanent Mission to United Nations in Geneva to
envisage the implementation on the Kutai Task Force
for Rehabilitation and Conservation of Delta Mahakam.
This program which has been jointly initiated
between Kutai Kartanegara and UNITAR will provide
the shrimp farmers within Delta Mahakam with
alternative technology to add value to their
products, while preserving the mangrove.
